| Newbie | Hey all, I didn't know where to post this, so I just decided to post it in my home forum. I recieved the title to my bike a long time ago when I paid it off but I moved since then and my parents moved. I'm afraid that it has been lost in that process so I need to get that title reissued before I sell the bike. I live in Washington state and was kinda searching around the DOL website for a few minutes to see if I could find any info but I got lost. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find that info or knew how / who I need to contact to have that reissued.... and about how much does it cost? Any info would be awesome. |

| ... ![]() | wouldn't a call or walk-in visit to your local DMV get you all the answers and forms you'd need? i'd assume you'd need a few pieces of your own ID. i was at my local DMV a few weeks ago and a lady had lost her ownership as well - wasn't a big deal for her to get a new one, they just needed a few pieces of ID, looked up her record on the computer, and probably charged her a few bucks for it. i would assume that a passport or other gov't issued ID with your pic and signature would be the minimum, probably two pieces. possibly also a document with your name and mailing address, like a credit card statement or phone bill that gets mailed to your residence. |

| Yeah, don't try the web or call. Just walk in. I am in WA state, and if I call I never get any answers. They only pay attention to you if they see you in person. If the bike was in your name to start with, they should be able to verify your ID and reissue you a new title
