Default Crate or showroom?

All right folks,

I have to figure this out by tomorrow morning. I mentioned it later on in my "other" thread, but I don't think anyone has viewed it lately and I really need your guys' advice.

I am getting my MZ 125 SM tomorrow. There are two, and I need to pick one. I originally wanted to get the one in the crate, because it felt more like a brand new bike than the one that has been in the showroom for years. But I saw the bike being assembled today and I noticed some corrosion on the hardware (nuts and bolts, I mean).

Both bikes are 2004 but they are new. One has sat in its crate in an unheated garage with the damp Seattle climate. One has sat on the climate controlled showroom floor with people checking it out, sitting/bouncing/bumping into it, etc. Which would be the best bet as far as its long term reliability? Does sitting in the damp garage for four years cause problems in the long run?

Please help, and pardon me if it seems like a stupid question. It is my very first brand new bike, and I want it to last a long time as trouble free as possible. Forgive me if I am a little paranoid.
