Default Wheelies Outlawed....

Man,i cannot believe how stupid this ruling is. I just seen a report on Fox News that Tenn has/or is proposing a ban on WHEELIES. YES...A BAN,making it illegal. But how contridictive is such a action, for do they not already ticket most people caught doing wheelies with reckless driving. The only exception to this DUMDA$# ruling is those who participate in parades and are going less than 30mph. I don't quite know the full extent of the charges/actions taken once a person gets caught. But i can just about bet that a person's license could be revoked or seriously impaired. While i will admit that many do risk both themselves and others many times by doing wheelies on public roads....many times on crowded highways,I'll state i believe this to be stupid. But to target riders in this manner is a beginning of getting a foothold on some freedoms that some do in more controlled conditions and such a hold may soon extend to some areas/actions that impacts riders not just in Tenn, but elsewhere. I like to think that many of our laws are just and with good faith to protect us.Well coupled with what i heard about this....and things i hear about local law and Deals Gap,plus what i've heard said by a local trooper who was working a local motorcycle wreck, who made a comment about some sort of changes to be dealt with. All this to me makes me concerned.I don't want to over-react,but i do want myself and others to pay attention to what we as riders face now and in the future.Have mercy on the motorcrosser or trials rider who violates this ruling in the state of Tn.
