Default Good Deed For The Day

I stopped for another rider parked on the side of the road this morning on my ride to work. He was already calling someone for help but I decided to stop anyway. Turns out he is a new rider, only 400 miles on his 07 Harley. He thought that when the blinkey light came on he still had ˝ a tank. He said it came on at 140 miles and at now at 180, well, there he is. I let him know that it meant that there was about 1 gallon left. He said he guesses he should have read the manual…

He was a nice fellow, friendly, & thanked me for stopping. Odd thing though, no leathers. I thought that was a requirement for HD riders. Just jeans and a navy & powder blue fleece pullover.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.
