I passed my MSF course yesterday and got my license today. I'm legal WOOHOO!! I had some points taken for some rear brake issues, but instead of blame the bike like i wanted in class, I just aced everything else. We rode Buell Blasts. They were cramped, beat up bikes. My rear brake locked with the slightest touch. I could apply far more pressure on my C50 and not come close to locking it up. I think the weight distribution was different which also made the rear lock easier.
Sitting back and thinking about it now, I never knew bikes could be manuevered 'that' tight. I learned a lot this past 5 days. Things like beanie helmets are pointless to wear or loud pipes are considered part of BEING HEARD like a good horn. I know the contraversy that will cause but that was a point made in the class
Finally, I made friends with a lot of Harley riders. Considering it was a class sponsered by Harley, I was outnumbered 8 to 2. The class was geared more towards Harley, but they did have a small section about metric bikes. I'm glad I took the class and I would recommend it to everyone.
