I think this donation thing is a GREAT idea!
It's nice that this forum is giving us some means to pitch in and help out.

It's also nice to just think that people from so many continents on this planet is pulling in for Joe and his family.

Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hey, psycho, we're not getting back together. Now get out of my Van Halen t-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.

Update:

I was released from the hospital today. I am under a few restrictions, no driving, no riding, no work, typical stuff really. I've got a few medications, some are inexpensive, but one runs around $500 per week. Thankfully I have been blessed - The hospital was willing to put the cost of the medication into a grant that they have just for this type of event.

I cannot begin to express the thanks to everyone on this forum. I truly believe in the power of prayer and it is impossible for me to discount everything that everyone here, at my office, at my church, everywhere has done for me. I could spend the rest of my life personally giving thanks to each individual who has helped me along and never be able to complete the task. Please allow me to take this opportunity to give my thanks to the fine people at Motorcycle-Journal. I could not possibly be more proud to call myself a member of this fine community. Thank you, from my entire heart.

Moving forward, I will be taking some time off from work to regain the strength in my legs and allow my aneurysm to heal properly. There is still a chance that I could experience a vasal spasm which would result in a stroke. I need to keep my intercranial pressure low as well as my blood pressure. No work, no play. Just time to cruise.

Thank you,
~Joe
