I know it's funny, but how much power does a modern 244 cc Honda Helix really have? A guy at work is picking one up, and I had to admit I didn't really know. Not before trying to talk him out of it, though. I mentioned that several other models were for sale for nearly the same price (V-strom came to mind). I also mentioned that several used bikes could be had very cheaply (there is a local stealer with a 1997 Honda Magna for 3000, only has 11,000 miles on it). But, in the end, this guy was just set on a Honda Helix. Oh well. Makes my old 1980 xs 850 Yamaha look like a fricking powerhouse. |
