Thats a good looking bike. I love the red wheels.

Yea um... about the fairings... I just lowsided on Thursday night... so I sold off the OEM plastics and turning it back into a streetfighter... won't need them now that spring is here!

It looks like this right now, got rearsets coming in either tomorrow or Tuesday. I'll prolly mount some driving lights until the one I got off of ebay is here.

I could have just repainted but the aftermarket full fairings look a bit better. Heres a picture of another '03 sv. Hopefully I'll save up enough for them for next season.

Whats up with all this crashing?

Didn't you total another bike last year?

I'm not trying to start something here, but could it be that you are pushing a little to hard?

My last wreck was 7-6-07, nearly two years ago.

This "wreck" happened at 5mph, ~9pm, 28°F. I was making a left hand turn on cold tires and gave it too much gas. The rear tire slid out and I fell on my butt and watched as the bike slid away. My frame slider snapped off and allowed contact with the lower fairing, the left rearset ground away and sheared off, and my bar end mirror broke.

Took me a while to get it started again (clutch lever safety switch pin got disconnected), but I was able to ride it home in first gear.
