Default Anyone Broken a Drive Belt?
Not that I'm expecting it to happen on my '86 Savage with only 22k on the bike, but wondered if anyone had their drive belt break while riding? Or for that matter anyone with a broken chain story to tell? Thanks

one time my chain broke when i was riding my mongoose to the next town over. got halfway there then it snapped. it was 2 miles away and in a rural road it sucked!

If it is the original belt, you may want to conseider replacing it - I don't think they're really that expensive. If your belt did break, you'd be pretty hosed. An almost 20 year old belt might be close to the end from sheer age.
