It's a great idea...I'm glad a major player has stepped up and is providing new riders with a handy tool box of toys and gear...don't know how many people will actually take advantage of it, but It sounds like a great plan!

Get them when they start and they'll invest in your company over and over again.

i can see this being either really good for track use (entry level), or in cities / provinces where insurance is cheap enough not to outweigh the cost of the bike.

I was watching Motorcycle Experience show on the launch of this program in Florida.
They invited 2 different types of Media, Motor Journalists and Fashion Journalists. The Fashion group were then given Riding lessons. It was a new approach as those from the Fashion group would be in direct contact with the 15-28 year group.

I don't like the 12% credit Card approach. But introducing new Riders to riding is great if it also includes proper training. Part of this is to also launch the new approach to Honda Dealers, which may be the end of Multi line dealers in Canada.

Looks like they're going to include an entry level basic rider course into the program-the gear included did not mention helmet( guess you got to pay xtra for that) "for about the cost of a Latte a day" how much is that up there $3-$5 so about $90-$150/month-good deal.

I think it's a great option for people who might be thinking about getting a scooter. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with wanting a scooter.

Nice looking bike.

it's like a bicycle with a weedwhacker motor. if i could insure that cbr125 for under $200 a year, i'd likely snag one!

During the TV show they had shots of Moto Journies racing each other on a track.
Would make for a fun track day with out blowing big bucks.

Also the gear can be color matched with your bike color.

I used a 400cc Honda to commute for years and I thought it was cheap on gas.
With that 125cc it would take me hours longer, who would want to take the direct route.

Oh no, I didn't mean to compare it to a scooter.

What I meant to say was it would be a good choice instead of a scooter.
