Default A Bad Day at the Races

This weekend at the Flattrack races in Waco Texas we lost a racer.
Larry DeAnda #7 of Irving passed away from a heart attack right after he took the checkers in his race. Larry fell off his bike in turn two at the end of his main and they were unable to resuscitate him. Larry was as nice a guy as you could meet and a sponsor of National Number 12. We will miss him dearly.
I was very tired when I got home last night but when I get home tonight I will post a pic of him racing his final race.

I'm sorry Don. It's never a good day when you loose friends or acquaintances. Small consolation but, at least he went with his gear on and a bike between his legs.

Larry was 51, and yes he died doing what he loved best. That does help a lot.

A damn shame to lose someone so young... at least he went out doing what he loved.

Beautiful shots. Somehow that makes his death more real out here in cyberspace.

He really rode nice equipment. That is a nice Honda. Looks like a Knight frame. You know he loved the sport.
