Default Tried something new today.

Bless me father, for I have sinned. It as been one week shy of three months since my last excursion. Today I lofted the wheel thrice, exceeded the posted speed limit on some number of occasions, and revved my inline-four at a stoplight. I beg of thee, forgiveness.

Better yet, continued warmer weather. I'm a motorcyclist again, and not just some guy with a bike out back behind a drift.

Your pentance will be three track days, two long trips 500mi +, and 15 weekend rides. Try not to stay off the bike for that long again.

LMAO!!!

As for staying off for that long... It's been since November for me! My left eye is twitching, I have an itch I can't scratch and my right wrist keeps twisting. I go to sleep thinking about riding and wake up thinking about riding. I AM GOING STIR CRAZY!

Three months of not riding would make me pretty dang high-strung... beyond the extent to which I am already!

Clint, I hope when you revved it at the red light you made the person in the car next to you crap their pants. It's so difficult to resist sometimes...

Enter the confession booth my son, be freed from your trangressions. Neglect is a cruel mistress.

OK...

Forgive me father for I have sinned. It has been longer than I can remember since the last time I rode my M50 and I have had unholy thoughts of revving the engine at stop signs and lights. I have been dreaming of popping the clutch and spinning the rear wheel, power shifting and scraping pegs.

Whew I feel better.... NOT... I WANT SUMMER ALREADY!!! I would even settle for spring!

The sun god has once again returned to the northlands, the barbarians emerge from their winter hibernation to ride forth and lay waste to highways. "Oh Lord please protect and deliver us".

Why that's just crazy talk.

Although....there was that one guy who sang that song...you know the one about driving any way he pleases, because he's got a plastic Jesus, sitting up on the dashboard of his car...remember that one?

The story goes that he sung it on the day of his wedding rehersal. By the next morning the reception hall had burned down, the priest had to leave town for a family emergency, the wedding gown was destroyed by another fire which had burned down the brides parents house while they were all out at the rehersal & dinner. The grooms tux was stolen from their new car, along with said new car, and apparently the wedding never happened. They lost the deposit on the honeymoon, not being able to convince their deeply religious parents to allow them to take the trip while still unwed.

Nah...that could never happen.

Man if I lived in an area with weather like yours, I'd probably ride in the rain more.
