Default What broght me here.....

I'm looking at getting my first motorcycle (I've been on a few friends in my younger years) and I did a search for .....

"What do I need to know before buying my first motorcycle?"

This site was the first answer to pop up.

So, here I am.

So the reason you come back is also the people here, right?

Same reason.

Looking for a Suzuki forum with Google so I could find out about the fool emission control pipe on my GS1200SS,
When squeezed the engine sounds great, when left to do its job engine sounds like its about to throw a small end or a tapped out of the engine, Got a manual for it from the main Suzuki dealers but this is a manual for a Bandit 1200, dealer states that its the only manual for the bike, not much help with the control pipe or body work but engine is the same apart from this dam pipe

Bought an M50, and used good ol' Google to get some info. Here's where I landed and I like it.

Combed the 'Net trying to find Nighthawk "support", which didn't go well; resigned myself to something Honda, and wound up here. I actually found 2, (this one and another), and then did the ol' "eany-meany-miney-moe" thing.

As far as staying....I haven't decided if I'm gonna yet...

I was searching for the largest collection of people on the net that were both geniuses and really cool. Looks like I found it.

I came here to be harrassed and badgered by people I will never meet that hide behind a computer screen hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away.

Okay, I came here for the chimichanga recipes.

Hunting for forums about the M50.

I like it here because it's mostly a mellow crowd. Not a lot of bickering, not a lot of snobbery about bike type or experience, and the safety gestapo isn't too militant.

Seems like this crowd understands that most like to ride because it's fun, and they're interested in helping everyone have fun and learn how to ride the right way.
