Hi i just bought a 1977 550gs Suzuki. I took a road trip and after i got off the highway the moto started making this grinding clicking sound. It sounds like the chain because its got a rhythm to it. Any ideas? please e-mail me thxs.

Loads of information and very knowledgeable people for this specific line of Suzuki GS bike is available at this forum:
www.thegsresources.com

You will get answers to any question you could have about that bike there.

If it is the chain the problem should be visible. If it is coming from the engine I would hold off on running it until you get some more answers.

Nice find man, they are great bikes!
