Default i think ive found the right bike!

today i went up to a local dealership to pick up some gloves for my MSF course that starts today when i was on my way out i noticed a used sv650s with lower fairing that looked reaaallly nice, i went back in talked to a salesman who said it was a 2002 with about 3000 miles and that they were selling it for 4500 to 4600...to me this sounds like a great buy and i think i might go back up there later today or tomorrow and put a deposit on the bike, i was wondering how you guys felt about since i have learned so much from the people on this board and your honest opinions matter to me especially when this is truly a life or death decision.

I think you will be happy with that choice. The SV is a great bike.

I have the SV 650 Naked. And I love it. It handles great and has enough power to do what you want. And the power band is very predicatable, You wont be flipping it over by accedent. Not like the GXXR 1000. I think that it is a great beginner bike.
