Default Riding Forever

I've heard a lot about motorcycle riders turning in their helmets once they begin to have children, which to me is totally understandable. An old friend of mine has been without his father since age three due to a motorcycle wreck.

I like to think that by the time I have children I'll continue to ride, and if anything, increase my level of caution even further. I was hoping that some of the more "chronologically advanced" riders of this forum could offer some insight as to what changes (if anything) are made to your riding habits and frequency of riding.
