|  Ironbutt Riders??
Hi All, Was just perusing through the forums a bit and recall seeing a few Ironbutt riders around here - just can't remember who they were! Anyway, was just wondering if any wanted to share any stories from their rides?? A buddy and I just finished an Ohio-only SaddleSore 1000. The new state qualifications are interesting and a bit more challenging than completing the standard 1000 miles/24 hours. Our general route was: Cincinnati - Columbus - Dayton - Toledo - Cleveland - Columbus - Cambridge - Marietta - Columbus - Portsmouth - Cincinnati It took around 20 hours - around 3-4 hours more than we originally planned. Mostly it was cold and a bit rainy so that probably added to the overall length of time. We completed the run on Friday 11/17. Now I just need to send in the paperwork! alow |
