Ok I didn't ride today, freezing rain, sleet, and snow around here today and tomorrow 45-50f Saturday though.
Not sure if I will ride or not Saturday.

I feel the pain for all the riders that have a riding season. I know I would go nutz. Hang in there.

It's officially over. Snow this morning and freezing rain this afternoon. Very cold in the mornings next week. Refilled up the gas tank yesterday after riding back from work. Another quick wash and removal of the battery for the winter is the next step.

Rain and thunderstorms today, then the weekend weather goes down to about 40, then snow on Monday... I'll be filling up the tank today and also washing my bike and removing the battery . I'm also suspending my insurance on my bike to save a few dollars. Hopefully mid-February it starts getting warm again but who knows, we had a really late winter this year.

it snowed here on Monday, it rained on Tuesday and on Wednesday it reached a high of 34 F but it was dry so I ventured out. My hands were freezing with my tourmaster vented summer gloves. Time to get some winter gloves.

Thanks man, it definitely is a pain. Of course I think the worst part is that by the time spring comes around ones bike skills are rusty enough that it takes a month or two to get back in the groove. Things improve throughout the season, peaking towards the end and then 3-4 months of downtime and the whole cycle starts again.

There's a 'season'????? Whoa - I rode yesterday for 2-3 hours. Temp got up to 57 F though. I plan to ride all winter long. In fact, I probably ride MORE during the winter than the Summer. The Summer gets so hot, you can barely wear the safety gear (and I just ain't gonna ride with short pants and a t-shirt), so I can't ride as long. I'll have to stay in the south so I can ride year 'round. I need the therapy, or at least that's what the voices in my head tell me.

btw: I'm in B'ham Bama.
