Default I went down today.

I was taking a left turn when I saw loose gravel about 3/4 out of the turn. I went for the brakes trying to reduce lean angle as much as possible. Went wide hit some bumps then head shakes...went down on the left.

Man to bad. You OK? Bike looks good considering, some scrapes and a small crack in the lower fairing. Seems like the frame sliders did there job. Now your bike is like a lot of ours, "it has character".

It's good the sliders did their job, looks like you can buff alot of it out, maybe try for custom paint now?

Anyway, Glad your ok. I heard a tale of a guy lossing his right ball in a motorcycle accident Hopefully , your bike can be fixed quickly and cheaply, so you can get out and ride!

Frame sliders and the rear spool really helped a lot. Frame sliders took most of the impact and dug in. The dirt inside the hole was packed all the way to the bolt.

You guys are great. Thanks

I was wearing Tour Master carbon fiber gloves, HJC leather jacket with hard armor, Shoei helmet, (blue jeans, timberland boots doh! )

Last Saturday, I wore one piece Frank Thomas but that was around 6 pm. This Friday, it was 91 and just after 3 pm. Just shows never know when accident will occur. Wear your best gear all the time.

Just so you guys know, this is the same road where I've seen accidents on the last 3 weekends. All 3 times, cruiser types were involved and ambulances. Two words why they didn't walk away... no helmets.

Shoei really saved my ass. You look at the bike and doesn't look serious, but when I went down, my left shoulder hit, then my head on a rock.

Brodie, sometimes you have to replace the fairing. that can equal about 200-400 cash for a new painted one. He did get a lucky strike, but that doesn't mean its not a bad thing.
