Default Fighting the fear.

I took the MSF class, and I love the feeling of riding. I have never ridden a MC before the class this year, I am 21. I am starting on a small bike (75 suzuki gt380...and on a side note no one here seems to have any of the older gt series...regardless it was cheap and will make a nice beginner bike) but regardless I am reading many stories about accidents.

It seems to me that no matter how good a rider you are there can still be problems. The teacher in my MSF class said accidents come about from several things being out of control, not just one. Moving on, i have not yet taken to the streets, in seeing as I had to find a new clutch for my bike, but Im startign to feel really anxious. I drove for about 2 yrs before this, and I was a safe and alert driver, and I hope to be the same on a MC.

Basically Im goign to be going 35-40mph on a road that runs into town for school, no wheelies on the freeway, but Im still scared. Many SUVs are in this area of town, so thats a factor. Overall I dread getting on my bike for the first time, whereas a month of so ago i was jumping with exitement. Any advice?
