Sport bikes are subject to the same laws cagers are.
There are lots of race tracks to try your skills out at.

The next step will be banning all bikes, think about that.

That area is a local place we run up to alot with the Misfits. The sportbike guys and the dualsport guys get up there and run outrageous speeds. Some of the locals have resorted to dumping gravel on the pavement. I have had a couple of close calls up there myself and several of the Misfits have witnessed people dumping their bikes off the side of the mountain.

I knew it was only a matter of time before this road got published or reported. But it is a great road though...

This is a prime example of what can and will go wrong if no one is out there to speak the words of wisdom to younger riders.
Our local Arkansas abate chapter is getting ready to publish an article for the next issue chastising the police and older motorcyclist for not doing the one thing we can all do.

Be apart of the community of riders.
I and a few others go out every friday and saturday night with the express intention of speaking with the younger riders about their action and the consequences there of.
I by no means accuse all young riders of being idiots, but there is a large percentage of them that meet the requirements, and if no one is there to pass on the knowledge and pain of what a 60 mile an hour lay down can do to your body, then the only way they will learn it is to have it happen. Or go to their buddies funeral after it happens.

I call on all experienced riders to get out there and be a presence and example to the younger riders so maybe we won't all be on the news lumped together as a danger to the community. Or worse yet, gathered around a hole in the ground saying good bye to another rider.
