Default MSF Test Specs

I want to recreate the MSF Test "course" in a local parking lot for my wife. Can anyone tell me the layout and sizes? I particularly need the size of the "figure-8 box". Thanks.

Regards,
Jim

Wow, there it all is in rediculous detail.

Jim, if you can consistently do circles in both directions on half a residential street without touching down, and you can stop effectively using mostly your front brake, you'll pass with no trouble.

yeah i've been working on locking my fork doing u turns, figure 8s are just extensions of uturns. if you can do it tight and slow, you shouldn't have a problem.

The slower you are moving, the more difficult the circles and figure-8s become. I took an advanced safety course this year - we had to do circles and 8's as slow as possible (walking speed). The point of the exercise was to show how unstable the bike becomes at those speeds.

Wow! Not that is detailed. This will make practicing easier.

Btw... My wife is testing. I've ridden for years and I've got an 02 VTX1800C.

Thanks everyone.
