Default T.V. bike show

Anyone ever watch Super Bikes on the Speed network?

Probably not the best show to promote safe riding. Lots of stunting and man do they ever love their Nitrous. They put one in on an R1 and did it ever fly.

I must admit some of the guys the feature on the show can ride.

You'll be at 10 K before the end of the year!

And for the record...I've never watched it either.

I have....Jason Britton is one of the more re-known stunt riders in the U.S.

True, they do not promote safe riding with all the stunts, but everyone of them have full leathers and full face helments, gloves, and boots.

I've seen a couple episodes. Interesting features, sometimes. I could care less about the stunting.

mmmm, not so much...

I've seen more than a few of the stunters in t-shirts and jeans on that show. Last nights show, for example, the guy on the R1 had full leathers and Britton had a riding jacket, all others had their promotional mechanic-style shirts and jeans while doing stunts after the R1 had its run. The only gear they had while stunting were helmets and maybe 1 or 2 with gloves.

I will watching the show now and then just to check out the bikes, but some of those episodes rate too high on the squid-o-meter for me.

Last night, both were repeats.
In one of the shows, he was riding and stunting with just gloves, short sleave
shirt, helmet with jeans.

This was the show with Deals Gap, where the dork wearing a thong and helmet rode pass the camera.

I'm sure you'll see many of these same people outside government offices protesting against helmet laws, simply because they feel it is their right to act irresponsibly.

These are the same people who will then claim disability and live off social security and disability insurance after they dump their bike and spend months in intesive care growing new skin, because they were free to drink beer and ride without gear.
