| I have several long rides coming up and decided to install the Ride On Tire Protection System in both my bikes to give myself a little insurance against a flat tire long way from home. I cannot endorse this product for preventing flats yet, but I will give it a big thumbs up on a claim they make about balancing your tires . I was having a problem with my C50 on rides longer then ten miles my throttle hand would get numb (fall asleep) on me. I have ISO grips but do not have the bar end weights and was planning to reinstall these in the near future because I was getting a vibration in the grip at different speeds and thought this might help my hand problem. Last week I installed the tire goop in both tires and took it for a ride to get the stuff evenly distributed, they recommend a ride of at least 10 miles but I did about 20. As I got off my bike in the garage it occurred to me that my hand did not go numb. took it out again for a short loop and voilą no vibration at all ! We did about 200 miles on Saturday and again no hand problem and no vibration, it can only be the Ride On TPS goop. I checked the air pressure before I add the stuff and again when I re inflated the tires and made sure they both measured the same before and after. it's about 15 bucks a tire. Ride-On ® | Tire Protection System Updated 10/20 Since I posted this I have also treated the tires in my Guzzi and can perceive a smoother ride also ! Last edited by Danr; 10-20-2006 at 04:29 PM. |

| Found second gear by accident ![]() | Not trying to be a smart**s, but could you run over a nail and let us know if it works? I ride long distances frequently and always worry about what I'd do if I get a flat. I've seen the website for this stuff before, but I'm still skeptical. |

BTW, I can definitely trace the arthritis back 20 years to a 300 mile ride across route 80 in Pennsylvania on my old Guzzi in a cold rain and wearing wet leather gloves. | |
