Default Question regarding grip ends...

This is my first post here (just found this place using google) so hopefully i'm in the right place to post this. I noticed the other day that my grip ends (the ones that are held in with the phillips end screw) were sticking out a little. I tried to screw them back in but I couldn't. I pulled the thing out and looked through the rubber section in the bar and saw that the bolt that holds it place is tilted on end...does anyone have any ideas how to get that upright and straight so I can tighen the ends down? I don't have anything that small and long to stick through the metal section. I'll post some pictures if no one has a clue what I'm talking about.
