Default SR22 & Insurance questions

New here! I am required by law to carry an SR22 through 2007. I have talked to Progressive but am a bit confused by everything. Just wondering if anyone could help out with my situation. I already have an SR22 policy in which I can drive any automobile. I am sure that just means automobile and not motorcycle though??? I'm also wondering, if, I could purchase more insurance on top of that (Comprehensive/Collision, etc.) for a bike or if I need SR22 on a bike if they even have such a thing? I'm sure I haven't got all my questions out of my system but any help with the questions above or help with insurance in general considering my requirements would be helpful! Thanks so much.
