Many thanks for your offering. Oh, I got a kick out of my spelling for 'laser'. The Mariners vs. NYY games were right in the middle of the golden week this year - not an appropriate timing for a retired grumpy old man to travel, because of terrible crush at the airport and almost impossible to have tickets upgraded. There's no more home games against the NYY this year. Maybe next year if my airlines is friendly to me.

I've viewed your up-to-dated photo album - YOUR Mountain is absolutely beautiful.

San Gabriel Canyon Road. Sorry the image quality is kind of grainy due to the low-light condition.

A couple shots from today's ride around the Swiss Jura.

A road near Fournet-Blancheroche (France)

Looking down from the top of Balmberg, Switzerland

Unfortunately, I couldn't stop to take a picture, but we passed one town with a very memorable name: Moron, Switzerland is located in the Jura region. I guess I'll have to go back down there and take some pictures of the town sign.

Default Mt. Fuji from Nagano

June 17 & 18: The weather turned out to be beautiful in the monsoon - made an unscheduled two day ride to Nagano.

From the top of the hill (called Utsukushi no Mori - 美しの森) we could command the 200 degree panorama view - No.1 (Fuji 3776 m), No.2 (Kitadake 3193 m in the South Alps) and behind me Mt. Akadake in the Yatsugatake Mountains (2899 m).

Didn't carry a tripod but tried to shoot 4 photos in sequence to make a panorama photo including these three mountains. When I get a chance I will try to make one.

You need an international driving permit and an US driver license.

Very nice shots as always Toyo. I especially liked no.2 with the tree and flowers framing the shot. Nice!

Mike, thanks a lot for stitching 8 photos together. Your tool does a lot better job than mine does. Hope you someday shoot a panorama photo of the Hurricane Ridge.

Anytime Toyo, Glad I could help, but I may try to work with the panorama a little more. I think it could be a little better. I think the sky could be blended better and I believe there is an extra frame in there right of center. Looks to be a mountain doubled.

I may ask you to use your tool until I purchase a newer tool. The current does not give me the output that I wanted as you've seen. Yup, knew the mountain, Kitadake the highest in the South Alps, was doubled but it gives wider view When you have enough free time to work on better blend and delete a vague frame right next to Fuji, I'd appreciate.

Default Moron

Jim, if you go back to Moron to take some pictures of town sign, will you take a 360° panoramic photo. The URL says:
"From the top of the Tower you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view like no other." but they forgot to clip the picture

BTW, somehow "Moron" reminds me of a movie "Grumpy Old Men". Max Goldman (Walter Matthau) said to his neighbor John Gustafson (Jack Lemon) "Hello Moran" John responded "Hello D.H." soooo funny to forget.

Default Hurricane Ridge

Here you go Toyo,
Hurricane Ridge,Olympic National Park, WA. It was a beautiful day in June. Just a couple of weeks ago. There is about 10 miles of twisties to get up to this point. Awesome ride.

Mike! Hurricane Ridge is certainly beautiful. And your blending skill is now perfect in a day or so. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Edit: Oh, you've added more pictures.
I've added "s" above

It's strange,I noticed here and also when I was at the Grand Canyon, that you have this massive open space,at both places and people talk very low in whispers even,I guess as to not disturb anyone else. It's quite funny to me.
If you want me to do any other panorama's for you the larger the separate files the better, because the program compresses them some, and you lose some resolution. It's really quite simple to use.
As for the blending skill,I do try to take the photos all level and with marked overlapping points to the make sure I get even coverage when taking the photos. Of course it is better if you can use a tripod(which I do sometimes),would be much simpler to scan on the level if you are going to make them panoramas.
