Here are some pics from ACH around 7 to 8 PM yesterday.

And lastly, at the Newcomb's Ranch (a favorite local bikers' hangout place) at elevation of around 4000 ft:

Looks like a cage wiped out the guard rail.

And to think that you can actually ride these places........

That's because they've done quite a few movies there.

I'd like to ride in some of the places you and Samurai had posted....

Food is actually pretty decent (typical American food). Very reasonable price, even for cheap wookie.

Default Just befote the rainy season

June 13th (JST): Looks like the monsoon will start tomorrow in the Tokyo area. Took a day ride to the skyline in a relaxed mood. Had posted some photos of Fuji a few times but these are the first shots from the skyline.

Wow,Toyo
Awesome photos, very nice shots! You got lucky I guess and got clear weather Mt. Rainier here in Washington state is 14,400 ft. and has clouds covering it sometimes. Really beautiful mountain. You have a really sweet bike, too,I like that. I know Mt. Fuji is about 12,400 ft. What is the elevation on the skyline,it looks like you are up a ways there. The rainy season is not fun.

Mike, glad you enjoyed and thanks for your compliment.
More accurate descriptions: these photos were taken from the Hakone / Ashinoko skylines - 3,800 ft. The elevation on the Mt. Fuji skyline goes up to 7,900 ft (2,400 m) - please take a peek at the attached images of Post #1 on this thread. From picture taking wise the Mt. Fuji skyline is not a great route, as you are on Fuji, but you can enjoy the twisties to a great degree.

Oh this is one of my favorite routes!!! The Hakone/Ashinoko skyline!
And the photos look great!

The rainy season is just around the corner now.... I think the weather is not going to be so good starting tomorrow.

I HATE THIS SEASON!!

I also just noticed in your profile you are a Mariners fan, wouldn't be for a nice fellow called Ichiro would it? i know he had a very successful career in Japan with the Orix Blue Wave team , before coming here. He is such an amazing ball player. . I think he will go down as one of the best in U.S. Baseball by the time he retires. I also seen in a post that you visited the U.S. did you come through, and have the oppurtunity to ride any of our roads the Seattle area?

We are just coming out of the rainy season and into Summer! Great riding ahead!

Kay, it would be nice if a weekly or monthly basis full furnished apartment (without the stupid traditional key money and deposit) were available in Hokkaido during the monsoon. Oh well, all I can do is 晴ツー雨読 I guess

Mike, Ichiro? Yup I am after him who made me a Mariners fan. He should go back to a right fielder so that we can watch his lazar-beam throw. Oh, Seattle is beautiful, one of the top ten cities I had read - I've done kinda touch and go often at Tacoma for one night stay during business trips from east coast. I had driven only from the airport to the hotel and to seafood restaurants no chances to ride. I plan to fly to the Safeco filed to watch the SEA vs. NYY (or BOS) games someday.

I live in Tacoma, but you can see that from my profile. Next time you are here if you have some time let me know. We'll go see a Mariners game. Let me know ahead of time I'll get some good tickets. I agree Ichiro should be in Right field. I have seen many of his laser beam throws, simply Amazing! Wish I had a second bike,we would go riding! I'd show you my Mountain.
