Sorry, off topic.

I was just so happy.
Great! 100 posts in only actual three months by the girl who is almost 24 hours on duty, only 260 for 1.5 years by a grumpy old man. And You have charisma of keeping the almost dead thread really going now

BTW, bungee jumping? How much did you receive? Oh, you have to pay for that?

Hahaha, women are talkative.

In fact, bungee jumping (OK, I got the spelling wrong.......) wasn't scarry as I thought. It was like flying! My complaint was that they charged me 2000 yen just to jump! That's about 16, 17 dollars. What a rip off.

But my friends were laughing like crazy 'coz I was the only one waiving my hand to them as I was falling. They couldn't believe that I was actually enjoying the fall.

I am impressed!

That day, I rode my GSX-R600 to Chiba. It was sooooooo nice,
Spring has finally come!
Our friend Samurai has tried to teach me a few things about Japan's language, history and culture, others I am learning as I go I just wish I had started this about 20 years ago...

Spring may be making a second attempt here later this week. It's supposed to get back to 70's and 80's (F) by the weekend!

Tiger, so you seem to be up to some great weather this coming weekend.
Here, the forecast is saying "rain" for both Saturday AND Sunday. (sob....)

Sunday could improve. I'm keeping my hopes high as I'm signed up to take riding lessons organized by my bike shop. They're really great because they don't just sell bikes. They also organise these classes and rides for their customers to make sure customers have opportunities to develop their skills.

Actually, Kay, although today was not so pretty, and through Friday it should be beautiful riding weather, Saturday is not so promising. We have a big ride planned for Saturday, a benefit ride for the local chapter of Veterans of Foreign Wars... but we're also looking at a high probability of severe thunderstorns on Saturday, so it may be wishful thinking

Thunderstorm?! What happens to the ride event? Are you still going to do it in such bad weather?!

Over here, unless it rains, we are getting beautiful spring weather. The only problem, at least for me, is that most of my riding friends are more interested in what they can "eat" for lunch, rather than where they can "ride".

So spring time, a lot of people gain weight! LOL

A little rain won't stop most of us. A thunderstorm will. If it's bad, we'll postpone for an hour or so, and then decide whether we need to reschedule.

Now, as far as eating and riding - - usually that's what we do!!! We pick a restaurant that would be a good hour or so ride, go there and eat, and then ride home. Or, more likely, ride somewhere else to get something else to eat

Kay I found this site of beautiful pictures of bike, well worth a look. Some day we'll be able to shoot like these guys. We'll just need alot of money and be at the right place at the right time.

I'm glad you're not determined to challenge bad weather. LOL
And you also decide where to "eat" too?!
So this must be a universal riders' trait!!!

You last line made me laugh.

I thought it was only MY buddies who place so much importance to "pigging out".

These pictures are awesome!
Not just the pictures but places some people go on two wheels!!
Makes me want to ride off-road bikes.

I saw a movie on Baja 1000 a while ago. I think it was called "From Dust To Glory".
It was such a great film and after I came out of the theater I was thinking "one day, I would LOVE to ride that route myself".

I know this sounds crazy, but if I made it to the Bonneville Salt Lake Flats after dreaming about it for 10 long years, maybe one day........

Carlos, these pictures are really inspiring.
Thanks for sharing it here!!

I'll be doing the ride alone though

Hope I don't get lost.

Thanks and here's some pills for you. The blue one may make you feel blue especially on Monday but cheap. The red one will make you want to post your photos. Take the red one.

Hey, I've been to the Great Salt Lake!!! In 2003 and 2004.
2003 was to check up on things and to book hotels, camping cars etc., to prepare for 2004. 2004, I returned to the Salt Lake to race!
Unfortunately, I didn't know how to ride bikes yet at that time, so I was on four wheels, but there were some great looking bikes (weird ones as well) out there for those who wanted to race on two wheels (yikes, four wheels was scarey enough!).

It was an awesome place and the all the people I met were great. I sure got the "salt fever". I'll be going back one day.......maybe on two wheels next time.

Ooops, sorry, off topic again.
