  |  Looking for some new gear...
My more than generous in-laws (yes, I actually get along well with them) have given me a moderate sum of money due to the sale of the Father-in-Law's parents house following their passing. I used some of it to buy a new stainless steel grill, and I want to use the rest to purchase some riding gear for the cooler and colder months. I have been looking at the TourMaster Flex jacket  and the TourMaster Caliber overpants and to finish the deal a pair of TM coldfront carbon insulated gloves.They are available for $179, 125.95, and 54, respectively from New Enough. The other option is the TM Advanced Jacket  which is on closeout from New Enough for $144 and from Tonker.com for $99.Anyone have any suggestions or experience with any of these jackets? I checked out the Flex at a local dealer and it seems really well put together and comfortable. I has a sleeker look than the Advanced and the removeable outer shell makes it more useable in the warmer months. Should I sacrifice flexibility for price? Just curious what everyone thinks. |
