I don't need a law to tell me to wear a helmet.
I'm wondering..., do beer goggles offer any protection for the wearer?

Is it true that if you feel you don't need to wear a helmet, you're probably right?

Is red really the fastest color of M50's?

On my ride this weekend, everyone was in full gear. The only exception was the lead rider on his Buell was wearing fingerless gloves, but other than that, everyone was in riding textiles or leather, with helmets, gloves, boots, and in most cases, spine protectors. Even the 17yo girl riding on the back seat of the Fireblade was in full gear.

I saw a guy on a Harley yesterday he was waring shorts sandals, and a T-shirt, his choice.
However on the back was 6-7 yr old girl wearing a very large helmet, T-shirt, shorts, and sandals. If he went down there is no way the helmet would have stayed on that little girl. I so wanted to yell at him for being a real dumb A$$.

God has nothing to do with you wearing your leather that someone scraped off of another living being as yourself. That had saved your primate skin. SO STOP EATING your helpers.

God does not tell you how to anticipate someone cutting you off, or make you smart or stupid in the situation. It's your deal and you are the god of the situation.

Get off of the notion that someone will help you. Help others first, or at least participate, do your best. Stop expecting to get union wages when you know that you never read a book. How can anyone dish out 50K for your ass when you do not produce? After all, be happy with 6 bucks and work your way up. Do yourself a break, be real and take care of the crap.

btw, how much was the plastic replacement?

Wow all those words and not one of them makes any sense. Now that takes talent.

On the way home yesterday, I watched a guy dialing his phone with the left hand as he was taking a drag from his cigarette with the right.

Did I mention that he was doing 80kmh and changing lanes on the highway at the same time?

Any other questions why I wear full gear?

Hmm.

God doesn't want us to wear leather.

Good think that pre-historic men and women didn't know this, otherwise we wouldn't be here today. Without skins and furs to keep them warm, humans would have died off in the last ice age.

I don't think that would really be in God's best interest either ... if there were no one left to worship him (or her), what would be the point?

Some still haven't faced the fact. We are near the top of the food chain. We need to eat meat in order to survive. Vegans and vegitarians can only survive by taking synthetic protein supplements. That's right - better living through chemistry. The human digestive system can't process leaves and grasses like the stomachs of herbovores. We are omnivores. We need fruits, vegitables, meats and grains for a balanced diet.

We are not alone on top of the food chain, either. Bears, wolves, dolphins, whales, monkeys and apes, all of them eat meat (or fish) in order to survive. At least we make the most of the animals we eat - their skin is turned into leather for our homes and for our safety.

Nice! I particularly like the definition of a flip flop.
