Default I RTFM award

As most of you know, there are many riders out there who either don't have an owners manual, don't know how to get the seat off to find it, or just don't bother to read it. The old, familiar questions keep coming up that really should be common knowlege to any bike owner. You know the ones.

You may have seen signatures in forums containing small icons indicating participation in events or other accomplishments. I hereby submit, for your displaying pleasure, the IRTFM award icon pin. Wear it proudly in your signature, but ONLY if you've RTFM! Let the world know that you've done the absolute bare minimum toward maintaining your motorcycle and riding safely. You've stepped up one small notch above the absolute squid. You earned it and you should be proud!

There is a new bike at work- someone got hold of a rather nice late model CBR600 in silver. Looks very clean, aftermarket exhaust, fender eliminator, etc. Yesterday when I left, it was parked on the RIGHT side of my bike for a change.

I know they make colored chains for that extra "bling" factor, but I don't think they sell a "rust" colored one, do they? Yellow, blue, red, orange, green and RUST? Yeesh!

This guy won't be getting that pin anytime soon!

I read my owners manuals on both bikes. I have the factory service manuals for both of my bikes. How do I get my award???

Dang, this is bad timing. I was going to ask a question today about something that happened last night. I guess I'll have to read the stupid manual now!!

Naw, I'm asking it anyway. Check the Cruisers seciton later today to see what it is. It's just plain wierd. Oh, and I have read the manual, just didn't retain everything.

Let's see how long it is before people start asking what this icon is that they see everyone having in their sigs.
