Default Talimena drive ride

I think we are going on a ride next week to Talimena drive. My dad and I are going. Any suggestions for this? I have drove it several times in a car but never on a bike. Beautiful drive. Has anyone had experience with it and is there any thing I need to watch out for.

Thanks

Went last year and we are going again this year on Sept. 30 - Oct. 1. Leave Dallas and drive to Hot Springs via Talimena then back on Sunday.

Maybe these will help.

Where the heck is Talimena?

Maybe I should have taken a left at Albuquerque.
