|  BIKE QUALITY QUESTION! (worthy or not)
Ok ive been shopping and shopping the loacl shops and it seems everyone wnats as much as they can get instead of what there worth...... So ive found a 1996 KAWASAKI ZX11 for $2800. Is this a good price...? *the bike has had the gas tank coated in the inside due to some rust *it has 16,000 miles on it *regular oil changes *new speedomete inner line *aftermarket hines exhuast *and its been jetted **now the only bad thing was that it blew a head gasket....how i have n idea but it was put in the shop adn it was professonial taken care of. My question would this be a good deal even with its prior problems??? also when should the rear and front bearing and such be checked and gone through? He has only had the bike a year and had regular matience done but nothing never been changed since he has owned it, I guess im fearing that im about to buy a money pit! CAN I GET ANY SUGGESTIONS (PLEASE)!!! But id rather own a used bike over a new one due to the learning curve of a bigger bike. Im uyp grading from a smaller to a bigger heavier crusier..... Is this price justifable????? (plus the bike rides and handles well fro its size) i appreicate any and all remarks and comments....THANK YOU very u much!!! |
