| 100% Title Free ![]() | I noticed that they're opening a Ducati dealership near my work in a couple weeks. The showroom floor was FULLY stocked, and as I drove past, I did a cartoon-esque double take before acknowledging the Ducati sign on the building. There's no doubt that there is a certain stigma attached to Ducati owners. I definitely wouldn't buy a new Ducati, and I may not even buy a used one. But that doesn't mean that I shouldn't go drool all over the showroom floor. Am I right or am I right?

| No, you're not right. You should buy a Ducati.

| 100% Title Free ![]() | Yeah, well... if I hadn't run off and bought a new bike to begin with, I might not be working two jobs right now. But I'd also be a lot less happier.

| Muscle Biker ![]() | Ducati = great looks, and a "unique" sound. Apparently, the "sound designer" down in Italy think it's cool to have a clutch that sounds like a couple of screws are loose. Other than that, Ducs are the loudest bikes around - even louder than most H-D and Buell models around here.

| I was saving to buy a new Duc, but a relative made me an offer for his used Duc that I couldn't pass up. The best part is that its a 1991 with less power than the new ones so it was a nice step up from the GS500f without being totally ridiculous like the new ones. I paid cash and I can continue to save for a new one. I haven't had it long enough to say much about reliability, but the looks that I get and the SOUND are just amazing, not to mention you don't see to many of them out there. |

| Puddle Runner ![]() | I'm completely in love with the Ducati 999, and I always have been.. oh yeh, and the FILA Ducati 999. I never looked further into them, though, because of the cost for repair, the lack of dealerships around here, and the fact that I can't go on eBay and pick up a spare, or good-used part for real cheap. Go GSX-R! Expensive to buy, expensive to maintain.. but worth it nevertheless! I think there are 3 or 4 Ducs around this area, and even while riding, I attempt to bow as I pass them. |
