If the bike is not in high demand and you are off season you can get it at less than MSRP from the dealer.
I've got my Savage, brand new, on the road for $500 less than MSRP, but in January, paid cash, for a 2003 model that was in stock.

Some shops will sell last years models , out the door with tax and license included for less than the MSRP. They want to move them so they can invest in the new models. You have to constantly be looking, because they don't last long, like a day or two, if you're lucky. Find a bike you like and start searching, and keep checking back with the dealers.

Make your dealer an offer, and tell them that you're not going to pay extra fees either. If they take it, great, if they don't, go elsewhere. Many new bike dealers advertise new bikes at lower prices on Cycletrader.com

police auctions, gotta love those repos and esp. with you being around detroit. or try a salvage yard if you know anything about repairing bikes. these are all going to be used, no warranty and as-is. but as long as your only requirement is that they're not stolen, well, technically this is legal stealing. gotta love that government.

As noted, many dealers have leftover models from the previous year that they want to get rid of. I just bought a new '03 Maurader for $1000 below MSRP, with no freight or setup charges.

well, the bike i want is a 2004 gixxer 600 in black/ orange colors. maybe a repaint of a 03 to look like the 04, but i doubt someone would do that. even though im 15, that gives me PERFECT! timing to get one cheaper or used. maybe a used one with black frame sliders and a new exhaust and lowered (and diablo tires )

The black and orange gsx-r is a limited edition and a hot selling bike, so your chances of getting one below MSRP are slim. Your best bet is to call every Suzuki dealer around you when you are ready to buy, tell them what you want, and have them notify you when one comes in on trade. Then wait with your money in the bank, and when they call rush down and write a check.

The only place that I could recommend, that shouldnt be a stolen bike would be Ebay. Some people buy the bike and realize they cant afford it and put it there. Check that out and see what you can find.

Happy hunting.

Soad your not 15, you won't be 15 till september. You live on the street next to me, i would know. Any way,you won't find a black orange 04 gixxer under MSRP. Unless of course you buy off ebay I think a 600 is borderlin beginner bike. I want a bike that will stay get my motor going after my payments are done (3-5 years). So the ZX-6RR is the bike fo me . I like that gixxer headlight thou, weird but pretty cool. If I were you brodie I'd get one on ebay and get a repaint. Not cheap, but you could have your own custom painted gixxer

i wouldnt want to pay your insurance. Although the black and orange gixxer is a sweet sweet bike, looking and riding. I can only afford oldies till the summers over then i will buy my gixxer and have to store for winter
ebay would be a good place to start if you got the cash

Just remember, motorcycles are like tattoos. Good bikes ain't cheap, and cheap bikes ain't good.

i must disagree with you on that one. you can get really good tattoos for a pack of cigarettes and 3 snickers bars in prison. some professional tattoo-ers go to prison and you can make a tattoo gun out of a needle, pen tube, and a tape player motor. and the ink is the hardest thing to find.

I made a tattoo gun when I was deployed to the middle east. I used .032 inch safety wire, a mechanical pencil tube, a motor out of a CD played, and some rubber bands and a d cell battery. I didn't have the guts to try it out though.
