| Top Gear ! Full Throttle! ![]() | I'm in the market for a good mesh jacket. Something that has good protection but is not too hot. I currently wear a classic leather jacket but it is far too hot. Unfortunately, price is an option so I can't afford something too expensive. I've been looking around and I like this one: Oneida Suzuki Inc :: Apparel :: Suzuki OEM :: Carbon Air Mesh Hybrid Jacket 2004 I've tried one on and it fits well. Suggestions? Comments?

| The first generation of JR mesh jackets didn't fit me well so I went with a Tourmaster Cortech. Very nice.

| I purchased the Joe Rocket Alter Ego. This is three jackets in one. Removeable inner liner, outer "skin" removes and leaves the mesh for hot days. The back of the arms and protection stay in place, great jacket in my humble opinion. |

| Throttle Jockey ![]() | Just go to a bike meet. Find one from the gazillion vendors & you'll only pay about $50 to $70 bucks. Of course you have to be aware of all the vendors there, several might have some real garbage. If the deal is too good to be true, it usually is. Don't buy any leather from Pakistan or India...it's crap. Although you can get a cool looking jacket for under $100. it still isn't worth the price. However, there are typically some great deals on non-leather jackets and apparel. Just my 2 cents worth. |

| Top Gear ! Full Throttle! ![]() | There's not too much going on in the way of meets in the Chicago area. Kind of strange, I thought. It's pretty much just the IMA show in February. Even shops are few and far between.

| JR Phoenix here. Fits great with the liner in. A tad loose without. As far as comfort goes in the heat. It's actually cooler with it on, because the mesh acts like shade.

| Puddle Runner ![]() | Oh yeah, NewEnough has an excellent selection of jackets. They would be the only store I shopped at, IF they offered discounts on shipping, or free shipping. That's always a plus when online. I wear the black Suzuki Champion Mat Mladin replica jacket. Excellent protection, excellent ventilation for this scorching Texas heat. I want the Michael Jordan jacket! |

| I got this one from the Suzuki Parts catalog for $200 I've worn it when It was 90 degrees out, can't even tell I'm wearing it. When it's cold I just zip the liner in. ![]() It has romovable sholder and elbow armor ( I took it out) and the the raised Boulevard logo on the back looks really cool |
