|  How to clean a leather jacket A really dumb/disgusting question here: How in the hell do you clean the inside of a leather jacket like a Joe Rocket Speedmaster ? Up until recently, I've been wearing the JR textile jacket and riding pants that I bought over a year ago. Cleaning them is as simple as taking out the armor pads and then toss them into the washing machine and put the washing machine into "hand-wash mode." Recently, I bought a JR speedmaster and with the 100+ degree temperature in LA, I've been sweating a lot in the leather jacket. I can't seem to find any good direction on how to clean the inside of the jacket. Any suggestions ? |

| take it to the cleaners and then after they restore it try using leather cleaner to maintain it and see if you can google some cleaners for the inside. I hear regular soap will only stain it even more. I think it's some type of oily type cleaner that is used but I'm not 100% sure. To be safe take it to the cleaners they clean the inside liner seperately from the outside leather. If you do let us know the price so others will know as well. good luck
