Default New Bikes?

What month(s) do the new bikes usually start coming out?

Anyone know of any big changes in the Suzuki line up?

Thank you!

They come out in the spring. Late February early March. Check out the new M109R, it’s awesome. And you might look at the new 900 Vulcan, also a very nice bike.

July - August the '07's will be out. They do it in the summer.

+1, some continue until November though to introduce new models (for example Suzuki announces the SV models very late in the game).

I bought my '05 C50 in July of '04, it was the dealer's first C50.

What kind of bike are you looking for? Everybody here has advice for you!

Thanks for the replies guys! Well, I am going to be getting a new bike soon, but if in July or August the 07s are coming out, maybe I will wait.

I am leaning towards the M50 black or the Katana 750. Just curious if there would be any changes in the models for 07 worth waiting for.

Also, say the new models are more of the same, maybe I would get a better deal if I decide to go with an 06 if they need to move them for the 07s?

Thanks!

BusterK9,

you may want to check but I received a newsletter from Suzuki a month ago and I believe the Katana's wont be available anymore.

according to the newsletter, they are supposedly offering good deals to get rid of them (Kat's).

I myself chose the M50 black.

Oh really? Hmmmm.. I am leaning towards the M50 more than the Kat.. but then again, I've always liked the style of the Kat since they first came out years ago. Do you have a link to where I can see that newsletter?

M50, very cool bike. I don't think you can go wrong with that choice.

Thanks Uechi! More and more people seem to be telling me that and I think that I more or less have made up my mind to go with the M50. Just don't ask me 5 minutes from now, I might have a different answer.

I'll have to see what happens in a few years. If I get another bike or whatever I do. I may end up owning one of these. SOMEONE HURRY UP AND BUY ONE SO I CAN TEST RIDE IT!!

LOL.. well.. ummmm.. I bought a bike today! It wasn't a M50 or a Katana!

It was a... drum roll... Kawasaki Ninja 650 R (Black)

I dunno how I ended up with this bike, but I love it. I hated the silver color of this bike and never gave it a second thought. They had a black one there today and it was beautiful!

They didn't have any M50s in stock or the Katana. They said they could order it, but I fell in love with the Ninja. After a 15 year layoff, I think it will be the perfect bike for me to ease back into.

On down the road I will move on up, but in the meantime, I am going to enjoy this bike. I sat on some other cruisers today and it just wasn't me. I thought I was ready for cruisers, but I guess not.

I will take some pics and post them if anyone would be interested. I just love this bike in black man. I take the MSF class next Tues-Thurs and then get my license Friday. How I am going to wait to ride it until then, I dunno! LOL

I have already ridden it up and down my street a million times. Sigh, oh well, I am tired, I am rambling on....
