Default Anybody bought from Bartlesvill Cycle Sports in Oklahoma?

Just wanted to find out if anybody has bought from these guys. They advertise prices that would justify making the 3.5 or so hour drive from Kansas City to go down and pick one up. I just don't know if I'll find out when I get there that the bike isn't as cheap as I thought it was.

Can anybody recommend or not recommend this dealership?

My advice would be to shop around and make sure your getting the best price. If this dealership is still the lowest get the OTD price secured in writing. Then have them fax it to you or email you a PDF. Unless you’re going to be paying cash you’re going to need financing, so check out a local bank or someone here said to check out e-loan.

E-Loan (like many banks) will preapprove your loan up to whatever amount you request (hopefully) and send you a blank check to fill out at the dealer to pay for your bike.

The question on great prices is always: Are there add on fees that make the great price a mediocre price? Any non Gov't fees are just price padding. A new C50 for only $5500 (plus $400 freight, $200 assembly, $100 Document fee) is not a $5500 price, it's a $6200 price with a sneaky come on.

When you compare prices, be sure to account for all add on fees, if any. Some nice dealers don't play that BS game. Don't be afraid to tell your local dealer that you can do much better down the road - they may be ready to negotiate.

I haven't purchased from them, but I know a guy firsthand who did (and recommended them to me). Now, I'm in the market for a Kawasaki, but if I was looking for a Honda or a Suzuki, I'd definitely give these guys a go. I emailed them with a few questions once ...back when I was looking at a C50 ...and they responded within an hour.

The guy I know who bought from them says they sell low and make up for the difference in volume ...but, again, I don't know if there are hidden fees, I never got to the negotiation phase.
