Hey Everyone! Ok a couple days ago I posted on the New Member Introduction thread with no response. I dunno if nobody reads that thread or maybe I should start getting a complex. Not to be a double poster but I thought I would try post in a new thread. If I get no responses again I will go back to lurking and pout as I read these boards. Hey guys and gals! I am from Las Vegas. I am getting back into bikes after about a 15 year layoff. Man, time flies by. I am 45 years old and rode most of my 20s. Started on a Kaw 400, then a 550, and then a GPZ 750. I loved that bike! Used to ride my friend's Eliminator 800 all the time. Rode my Uncle's 1000 and 1300. So when I did ride, I rode a lot of different bikes. Looking back at things I did on those bikes, especially the GPZ it is a wonder I survived. Must of had an angel on my shoulder! Now.. a little older and somewhat wiser.. debatable.. I am getting the itch to ride again. Then again, could be just jock itch, not sure. I am taking the MSF or whatever those initials are on the 13th. Reading Proficient Motorcycling and reading up on this and other sites as much as I can. I am an outside bike security officer at a casino here, so I am on 2 wheels 8 hours a day. (yes, I read that article, I know it's not the same! Get off my back already! lol) I work out at the gym and working on a personal training certification as a hobby. So I have kept myself active and in shape over the years. Having said that.. I have narrowed my bikes down to the Suzuki M50 Black or the Suzuki 750 Katana: http://www.carterpowersports.com/new...h2=24664&go=Go I am leaning towards one more than the other but would like input from anyone bored enough to humor me with some. Which bike would you prefer and why? 100 words or less, double spaced. Anyhow, I am sure with this long winded post I already have worn out my welcome. Seriously though, I am interested in any input any has and would be grateful. Thank you and THE END |
