Default Newbie Says Hi.

Hi all,
My name is Rick. I'm a 41 yr old mid-life crisis guy getting a new M50 in a week. (Figured it was cheaper than a mistress, at least in the long run).

I live in NE PA, am a computer programmer by trade, and have more hobbies than a person has a right to (type-A personality). Some include private pilot (VFR Land), Judo, woodworking, and musician.

I learned on an Chaparrel 100 at 12 years old that I bought with paper route money, and have had a little bit of everything along the way (Suzuky RM125, GS450, current bike - GS500e, Honda CB350, NX250 and next week the M50).

I've learned a lot from lurking around before registering in this forum, and it looks like great info and great people.

Please be gentle with the new guy, or as we say at work FNG.

The grey (although I keep calling it silver because it looks that way to me). I had to order one in because I delayed my decision for a week and the one I sat on was gone. But the dealer got one in 3 days from somewhere. Probably a swap with another dealer.

Ricky T. Always a pleasure to welcome another M50 rider to the group. Great forum with all kinds of info on this bike. You'll think the M is MMMarvarous.
Ride safe and post often.
