Default wind blowing in ears while driving

I use a HJC open face helmet with visor. Still with the visor I get a lot of wind and noise in ears and this sometime hurts. I feel some pressure in the ears afterwards and I know this is because of that wind and noise. I have found a remedy for this. I use cotton buds and make small plugs of these and use in both ears. This prevents winds going in the ears and does sound proofing. I still can hear loud sound anyway.

Is this wind problem a peculiar case with me or others also face this and any solution to this other than what I do. Thanks.
