Thanks for the warm remarks. People like you are the main reason I'm still serving in the Army. I've been in the military for 7 1/2 years now. Another reason I'm serving is to help our Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors get back home. I'm an 89D, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialists (EOD), or Army Bomb Squad. The main reason I'm in this MOS is so that I can help rid of IEDs that is taking our warriors away from their families. Please take a moment to reflect on the freedom that We have that other people could only think of. HOOAH!

In addition to the Korean War Museum, I also visited the Joint Security Area (The DMZ) while stationed in Osan Air Base in 1999. That too was a sobering reminder of the ultimate sacrifice. It was there in 1976 that Capt Arthur Bonifas and 1st Lt Mark Barret were killed by North Korean soldiers as a United Nations Command (UNC) detail was attempting to trim a tree that was blocking their line of sight. This was done not during a time of war, but during a period of "armistice."
