| Just found out that a good friend of mine went down over the weekend. He is ok now but this is the second time he has gone down and injured. He was VERY VERY lucky cause he wasnt wearing a helmet, go figure. From what I understand he laid there unconscious till someone found him and his burned up bike. He now is telling me that he is seriously thinking about getting a helmet. Guess it took him 2 totalled bikes to realize that helmets help.

| Helmets do help, but what's even better is not crashing. How long has this guy been riding? Has he taken a basic riding skills course?

| Sorry about your friend. Hope he gets well soon. I also hope he WEARS the helmet. Just GETTING the helmet is not good enough. Sometimes it takes some of us a little longer to learn life's lessons. Your friend is lucky to have been given two chances to learn the benefits of helmet use (even though he's learning the hard way). BEST OF LUCK.

| If you don't mind me asking... 1. What kind of bikes has be been riding? 2. What is his riding experience? 3. How did he learn to ride a motorcycle? 4. Why did it take TWO crashes to realize how important it is to wear a helmet? Perhaps it's a 'sign from above' that says that he is not meant to be on a bike and it's time to get while the getting is good. The third time may not be a charm, if you get my meaning.
