Default Rider died, around the corner from my house.

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday after his cycle collided with an ice cream truck in southeast Lexington.

The accident happened on Lansdowne Drive near Burkeshire a little after 11 a.m. Police say the motorcycle was eastbound on Lansdowne Drive at a high rate of speed when it topped a small hillcrest and collided with the Schwann's Ice Cream truck. The motorcyclist left approximately 275 feet of skidmarks prior to impact.

Police have not released the name of the 32-year-old victim pending notification of his family.
