| A friend has a Joe Rocket jacket that he likes quite a bit. He claims their sizing runs a bit small, though.

| Joe Rocket makes decent stuff at an attractive price. Check out my favorite vendor, www.newenough.com for the best deals.

T-ROD, I bought the Meteor and am VERY happy with it. I don't believe the removal of the vent panels results in any more compromise than openning any regular zipper-vent (arms, back, etc). I ride without the panels all the time (I'm in the TX heat) and really appreciate having the panels rather than a basic zipper-vent. The jacket and its hardware feel really well-made. I got my Meteor from newenough.com as tlwisner has linked above. New Enough had the best price and my purchase went smooth. Don't let the name fool you...the gear is NOT used.

| I have their winter jacket, summer vented jacket, boots and gloves. Had it all over a year. Wears nice and still looks new.

My last roomate had a Joe Rocket jacket. It was a mess jacket, and he seemed happy with it as well. | |

| we love our Joe Rocket jackets -- my wife and I have the Ballistics for the winter. So far I have just unzipped the liner and use my ballistic for summer also. My wife has a mesh jacket for summer. I have found the Joe Rocket stuff is very good quality |
