Default insurance rates..

I called my insurance company today to get a quote..

I'm 20, 0 seat time, 0 tickets in my car, 0 accidents..

So i called for info on a GS500f and a Ninja 500..

For full coverage w/ 250$ deductible..drum roll please!

550$/year! Yay!

I love USAA!

"500" was the key word. In the 60's, a 500 was a big-bore. Nowdays it's a starter bike.

well I am 20 and full coverage of me with my 03 gsx-r600 with no seatr time and no prior tickets, with 500 deductables.

Drum roll PLease.......

$2,868 a yr.

Pffft, thank god my bank I financed from does not require full coverage.

who me? Insurance wont cover I am not going to claim. Either I have to pay 5K+ to fix it or pay off a bike I don't have. But either way I wont have my insurance jump up on me for 5+ years. If I had to claim an acident to have my insurance pay for, I wouldn't be able to ride again anyways to afford it, you know what I mean.

SUCKS BEING YOUNG.

Financed with 0 down and I pay --- $2,064 a year
To insure with Full Coverage --- $2,865 a year.

You also make good bike choices, that helps a ton, and you will enjoy the hell out of either of those bikes.
