It's quite simple and you don't need to use too much grey matter to figure it out.
You notice that two options were illustrated. "A" If you are on a straight section of road and see a hazard to the right, pull in the clutch and point to the hazard to warn the other riders behind you. If you have to stay on the gas then use method "B", pointing over the head.
Another good way to point out hazards is with your foot. This way works well in the twisties.
I think plenty of brain cells were used while making the "Rider Etiquette" web page. The information provided was, is, and will be a very helpful tool to help promote a safer environment for everyone while riding in a group.

Hey Rob,

Sharing lanes is not Illegal in Missouri. In fact it's not outlined anywhere in Missouri Blue book (State statues).

Interesting, only thing I use is my favorite finger to all the crappy drivers, the gun low wave, and turnsignal pointing combined with favorite finger for those who don't know how to use turnsignals and try to hit me.
Oh and yes I wave at cops, sept that one that followed me home *lesigh*

Yes, just wave. It is so good to know that at least one other person on the road knows that you are there.
Good luck and safe riding,

We've always used the "tap on the helmet" to signify there are 5-0 up ahead.
