Default Thread revivals

I'm seriously considering locking threads after a certain time. What about 2 hours?

Stop reviving old threads!!! Sometimes, it would be appropriate, yes, but don't go revive a thread to comment on another person reply from 4 month ago! It's pointless.

Thank you.

I guess I don't see the problem. What's the big deal to you if somebody isn't paying attention and replies to an old thread??

Damn.....I keep gettin' fooled by these thread titles!

Here I thought the thread might have been about gettin' a little of the Holy Spirit......Some Fire and Brimstone.....You know...a virtual Tent Revival!!

(Hears crickets chirping.)

Tent revivals.......? Thread revivals......?

Thank you! Thank you! (Bows.) Damn I'm good!!!

Default Some older threads are great.

Being a newbie I am reading the older threads for the first time and finding laughter in some and wisdom in others. I have not replied to any but I would like to if I have a question or answer. Also, an older thread might answer a question that would stop me from starting a new post.

Thanks for all the wisdom within older threads and safe riding,
Blue Max

Locking a thread doesn't prevent you from reading it, just from replying to it.

Low Wee why is this thread still open??
